4 years!

Here's a photo of Mae-Mae, because what post is complete without one??? But ... this entry is about my wonderful husband and the really unique idea he came up with for our anniversary! Jeb came up with the cool idea to make fruit bouquets (he saw an ad on tv). Here he is working on one ...
And two hours later (whew!) here are the finished products:
Don't they look really cool?
We decided we could splurge a little bit if we were going to eat all that fruit, so we added some chocolate-colored strawberries!
Voila!

Mommy's little helper

Mae was having fun this morning helping Mommy with laundry!

Have you ever seen a sweeter smile? :)

Beatnik Baby

Oh! There's the world-famous pianist Miss Mae! She seems to be hard at work at her piano .... let's see if we can get a photograph! Excuse me, Miss Mae. Would you mind if I took a photograph?
Really? Of me! Oh goody!

Wait, wait! I change my mind - no photographs!

Oh, alright. Watch as I serenade Geoffy the Giraffe with my sweet piano skills. Pish-posh on the pianists who say they need two hands to play - I only need one!

Cabin Fever

So this was the weekend of the big Bodi cabin trip! We did this last year but last year Mae was about the size of the pea (so she didn't remember much!). This time Mae didn't have to hang out in Lisa's belly the whole time. :) Sportin' the two colleges - how is she going to pick in 18 years?

Look at our little hip-hop gal!

Nice bling!

Kisses from Aunt Mindy ...

Hugs from Peepers ...

More hugs from Peepers...

Learning Settlers of Catan ... you can never start too young!

Oh yes, I suppose we can take at least one photo that doesn't include Mae!

What?!? More hugs from Peepers?!?
Group shot!

lil' Stinker

This family of Stinkers went trick-or-treating at the Nursing Home. As you can see, we all got into the spirit (though Jeb's the only real Stinker in the family!) :)
And then, once done with trick-or-treating, Mae joined in a rousing game of Uno! :)

First Food

Mae had her first cereal tonight! She didn't really want to hold still so we had a hard time getting good photos of her, but she did appear to like the cereal. We'll try it again tomorrow and see if we get more in the mouth & less on the bib! :)

Gone South!

The three of us got to go on a trip to Alexandria, VA with Jen, Roberto and their peanut (soon to be arriving!). We had a great time checking out Alexandria (a super quaint town!) and also doing a little sight-seeting in Washington.

On Saturday night we went on Mae's first ghost walk. The guy leading our tour was very animated and she loved watching him talk. She provided the sound effects for the rest of the ghost-walkers (lots of cooing and laughing!).

Mae had lots of fun playing on the hotel's beds. Too bad she didn't like her own bed, though! (Jeb and Lisa had one very sleepless night!)

Then on Sunday we stopped by Washington for Mae's second trip to the Capitol (she was there when she was still in Lisa's belly).

Apple Bonanza

We went apple picking today with Jen and her little Peanut! It was a beautiful fall day, just right for picking 100 pounds of apples! :) We're going to be eating apple crisp 'til the cows come home!

Tour de PA

We got the chance to go to Western PA for a quick trip. It was an awesome reunion ~ we got to see Geoff & Lisa, Grandma & Grandpa Bodi, friends from Grove City and Rick, Leanne & new little Maggie!
We stopped for dinner at Geoff and Lisa's house on the way out. It was so fun to catch up with them and it made us wish we lived closer so we could meet for dinner more often!

Then on the way home, we stopped at Rick and Leanne's house to meet Maggie! She is so beautiful. Here are some super-cute and funny photos of Mae and Maggie checking each other out .... we're not sure what they thought of each other!

And here's a very sweet photo of two little girls with their mommies!
