Friends Forever

Over Thanksgiving, Mae got to meet all sorts of new people! :)

Here's Mae with Renee .... Mae's looking pretty good considering it was 11 at night!
And then, after leaving the Allen house at midnight, we drove up to Brookville where she got to meet Deb and Nick!
First some cuddle time with Geoffy....
And what started out as an innocent hug from Lorna ...
Turned in to a doggie kiss! (Check out Sherman's tongue!)

Here's Deb with little Mae-Mae..

And Mae dancing with Nick!
First bunny ears!
Mae had to recover from the trauma of seeing Nick with giving Lisa a hug. :)

And finally Big Bob got to have some cuddle time!

And, as a bonus - guess who doesn't like peas?!?

First Thanksgiving!

Usually the tiredness doesn't kick in until after the turkey .... :) For Mae's first Thanksgiving we traveled to Jeb's parents house. Here's Mae showing off her wingspan on Grandma's lap.
Uncle Jon's kinda gross, but Mae loves him anyways. :)
She definitely loves her grandpa, though...
cause Grandpa gives her all the yummy treats!

Jeb's mom had this awesome turkey costume, so of course we had to dress Mae up in it! She wasn't too wild about the idea, though.
Mae got to open a couple Christmas presents early. She's very focused on this all-important job!
Ok - so here's the AFTER turkey nap (I wish I had the life of a baby!).

Grandpa and Uncle Jon were bound and determined to get Mae to wear a NE hat ...
And here's the Three Stooges watching (and apparently cheering for) Nebraska!
Of course Rhodie had to get in on the action, too. ;)

Weekend with the Crazies :)

Grandma and Grandpa Bodi came down to PA to spend the weekend with us. We had a ton of fun - here are some highlights!

Friday night Jeb had the opportunity to be the Assistant Coach for the Grove City Men's Basketball Team (he played for the coach in college). So we took the trek up to Dickinson in the snow ... we were a little later than we wanted to be, but we still made it!

Here's my handsome husband :)
Mae is busy checking out the stats so she can help Daddy!
What a cutie! So serious!
She is not so much a fan of having things on her head - here she is battling with her Grove City sweatshirt!
Here's Jeb getting into the mix of things.
And here's a pic of Mae and Mommy playing
Mae loves walking right now... when the game was over and we were waiting for Jeb to come out of the locker room, we took a LOOOOONG stroll around the court!
This is Mae's purple-people-eating outfit! It's a wonderful one-piece fleece outfit that she looks so silly in - we love it!
We took some time to frost some Thanksgiving cookies (which were all promptly eaten)!

And here's Grandpa loving his little Mae!

Party Animal!

Here's Mae greeting all of her guests to her six-month birthday party! Here we are blowing out the candle....

And it looks like Mae-Mae had too much fun .... the poor little girl was all partied out! :) There's no better place to sleep than on Daddy's lap! :)

Happy 1/2 Birthday!

Today is Mae's 1/2 birthday ... we cannot believe she is 6 months old already! To celebrate, we are having an "I love you" party.

Here's the cake that took me ALL DAY to make (but she's worth it!):

More pics to follow after the get-together ...

4 years!

Here's a photo of Mae-Mae, because what post is complete without one??? But ... this entry is about my wonderful husband and the really unique idea he came up with for our anniversary! Jeb came up with the cool idea to make fruit bouquets (he saw an ad on tv). Here he is working on one ...
And two hours later (whew!) here are the finished products:
Don't they look really cool?
We decided we could splurge a little bit if we were going to eat all that fruit, so we added some chocolate-colored strawberries!
Voila!

Beatnik Baby

Oh! There's the world-famous pianist Miss Mae! She seems to be hard at work at her piano .... let's see if we can get a photograph! Excuse me, Miss Mae. Would you mind if I took a photograph?
Really? Of me! Oh goody!

Wait, wait! I change my mind - no photographs!

Oh, alright. Watch as I serenade Geoffy the Giraffe with my sweet piano skills. Pish-posh on the pianists who say they need two hands to play - I only need one!
